The History:

Tudor began to produce watches in 1926 that could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line while still maintaining the same standard of dependability that Rolex had
become known for. Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince and diver watches such as the Submariner series.  

The Watch:

The Date/Day Ref 76214 features a 36mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and an 18K White Gold fluted bezel.  The silver linen dial features a day window at the 12 o’clock position, a date window
with a cyclops lens at the 3 o’clock position, silver-colored hour markers, and an applied Tudor Shield logo.  Powered by an automatic ETA 2834-2 movement, the 76214 has a 38-hour power reserve and is rated to 100 meters of water resistance.

The Details:

This Tudor Prince Date/Day Ref 76214 was originally purchased in 2009 and is a full set, which includes both outer and inner boxes, the owner's manual, the service manual, and the warranty card.  There is
some wear present on the case and bracelet, which is visible in the photos and consistent with the age of this piece.
