About This Watch:
The Tudor Black Bay GMT Ref 79830RB features Tudor’s in-house movement, the Chronometer Certified MT5652, which allows for independent setting of local time display, as well as having a 70-hour power reserve. GMT functions allow for tracking of up to three time zones, with the main hour hand, the red GMT hand as well as the 24-hour bi-directional rotating Pepsi-style bezel, making this an elegant and sophisticated timepiece, capable of handling the most rigorous expeditions. The History: Tudor began to produce watches in 1926, that could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line, while still keeping the same standard of dependability that Rolex had become known for. Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince, as well as their diver watches such as the Submariner series.
The Watch: The Tudor Black Bay GMT Ref 79830RB features a 41mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal. The 24-hour coin-edge bidirectional bezel is red and blue anodized aluminum with 48-click points. Powered by the in-house COSC-certified Calibre MT5652 movement, the GMT has a 70-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters. The stainless steel screw-down crown features the Tudor Rose signature in relief, with a circular satin-brushed steel winding crown tube.
The Details: This Tudor Black Bay GMT Ref 79830 was purchased from an AD in March 2021 and carries the manufacturer's warranty through March 2026. There is some wear on the case, lugs, and bracelet as visible in the photographs. Included with this timepiece are the original outer and inner boxes, the serial number hangtag, the international guarantee card, the chronometer certification booklet, the user manual, and the original Tudor stainless steel bracelet.
