The History:
Bell & Ross began as a University project between two friends, Bruno Belamich and Carlos Rosillo, in 1992. With their philosophy that “function shapes form,” they drew inspiration from early aviation instrumentation, creating unique timepieces that serve those wearing
them in the most volatile of environments as an asset with their function, reliability, and visual design. Mentored by German watchmaker and aviation enthusiast Helmut Sinn, the earliest Bell & Ross timepieces were designed by Belamich and Rosillo and built by Sinn.
The Watch:
The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver features a 42mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, a blue rubber grip around the crown, and a unidirectional bezel with a blue aluminum bezel insert. The blue dial
features a sloped chapter ring with a minutes track, lumed hour markers, lumed hour, minute, and seconds hands, with a yellow accent on the hour hand, and a date window between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. Powered by a Caliber 302 movement, based on a Sellita SW300-1 movement, the BR03-92 Diver features a 38-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 300 meters.
