Many Panerai enthusiasts love the PAM 000, known as “The Zero,” for its minimalist dial design. A piece that harkens back to early Panerai aesthetics, the Panerai Luminor Base Logo PAM 000 has an uncluttered “sausage” dial with no seconds hand, applied hour markers and numerals, and the Officine Panerai logo at the 6 o’clock position

More Info
  • The History:

Beginning in 1860, Guido Panerai & Figlio in Florence, Italy, began producing high-precision instruments built for the Royal Italian Navy.  In 1938, as Officine Panerai, they started making wristwatches for the Italian Navy Commandos, with the Radiomir and later the Luminor.  It
wasn’t until 1993 that they began to produce versions of the Radiomir and the Luminor for international sale to the public.

  • The Watch:

The PAM 000 has a 44mm polished, stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal that houses its Caliber OP I movement with a 56-hour power reserve.  It has Panerai’s signature brushed stainless steel lever-operated crown guard, and a fixed, polished bezel.  The dial is black, with painted Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions.  The hour markers and numerals have a Luminova lume.

  • The Details:

This Panerai PAM 000 comes with the black inner box, the wood Panerai watch case, the Luminor booklet, the guarantee booklet, the registration card, the warranty card, the serial number sticker sheet, the original case back sticker, the strap change tool, the original black rubber Panerai strap, the black leather Panerai strap with stainless steel buckle, and the Panerai plastic bezel cover.
