The History:
Arken Watch Company was founded by Kenneth Lam, who desired to create a timepiece that was both purposeful and practical for himself. After researching, creating diagrams, and sketches of the watch’s aesthetics and the materials he desired to use, he approached several manufacturers to build his dream project. Turned down by everyone, he chose not to
let rejection stop him, and in September 2021, he opened a crowd-funding campaign to bring his vision to fruition, and from there, the Arken Instrumentum was born.
The Watch:
The Arken Instrumentum 1020 features a 40mm titanium case with a uni-directional rotating titanium bezel and a sapphire crystal. The black dial features lumed hour plots, connected with a thin line that circles the dial, lumed sword-style hour and minute hands, a lumed
lollipop-style seconds hand, and a date window at the 6 o’clock position. Powered by a Miyota 9015 movement, the Arken Instrumentum features 300 meters of water resistance and an integrated titanium bracelet.
The Details:
This Arken Instrumentum 1020 is number 207 of 300 produced and includes the original bracelet and warranty card.
