Description

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel Ref 79730 is an evolution of the Black Bay model. With the introduction of a steel bezel insert, as well as a date window on the dial, and an updated, in-house movement with a longer power reserve, the 79730 stands out from the rest of the Black Bay line.

The History:

Tudor began to produce watches in 1926, that could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line, while still keeping the same standard of dependability that Rolex had become known for. Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince, as well as their diver watches such as the Submariner series.

The Watch:

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel Ref 79730 has a 41 mm stainless steel case and a domed sapphire crystal. Powered by a Calibre MT5612 movement, the 79730 has a power reserve of 70 hours and a water resistance rating of 200 meters. The bezel is uni-directional, rotating with a steel insert with graduated 60-minute engraved black markings.

The Details:

This Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel Ref 79730 is in good condition, with some minor wear markings on the case and lugs, which are visible in the photos. This timepiece comes with the original boxes, guarantee booklet, manual, black fabric strap, and Tudor stainless steel buckle.
