One of only 200 pieces produced, this modern marvel, the Panerai Radiomir GMT Alarm PAM 238, embraces both the classic Panerai styling, along with a magnificent complication movement in partnership with Girard-Perregaux. It’s limited production numbers and availability make this timepiece a Panerai collector’s holy grail.
In 2006, Panerai partnered with Girard-Perregaux to create the Radiomir GMT Alarm 238. Utilizing the GP 59 caliber movement in the stunning 42mm rose gold case with exhibition back, production was limited to 200 pieces.
The Radiomir PAM 238 houses a lot of horological wonder in it’s 42mm 18K Rose Gold case. It holds function for a date, alarm, and a second time zone, all packed in it’s automatic movement by Girard-Perregaux, one of the most prestigious haute horologerie watch manufacturers in the world. It maintains the classic Panerai styling with it’s step down dial, numerical markers at the 12 and 9 o’clock positions, date at the 3 o’clock and GMT just above the 6 o’clock position. The highly polished 18K Rose Gold case has dual crowns on the right side, with the top crown used for the winding and setting of the date & time for the watch as well as the GMT function. The bottom crown both winds and sets the alarm function. The case features a sapphire exhibition back to view the extraordinary movement. The watch rests on a beautiful brown alligator leather band with 18K Rose Gold buckle.
The watch is in very good condition. Slight wear marks on the case as well as patina are detailed in the photos. This Panerai Radiomir GMT Alarm PAM 238 is a full set with original box and papers.
