The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM 005 has all the stylings that Panerai is known for. From it’s large, 44mm case size, it’s signature crown guard, and it’s vintage aesthetic on the dial, the Panerai PAM 005 is a timeless classic.
Beginning in 1860, Guido Panerai & Figlio in Florence, Italy began producing high precision instruments, built for the Royal Italian Navy. In 1938, as Officine Panerai, they began producing wristwatches for the Italian Navy Commandos, with the Radiomir, and later the Luminor. It wasn’t until 1993 that they began to produce versions of the Radiomir, as well as the Luminor for sale to the public internationally.
The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM 005 has a stainless steel, 44mm case with a fixed, polished bezel. The movement is a manual wind Calibre OP II, with a 3-day power reserve. The watch has a water resistance rating of 300 meters. The dial is black with applied Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, and 6 o’clock positions, as well as applied hour markers.
This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM 005 is in good condition. There are slight brush marks around the case and lugs, as well as a small ding on the polished bezel, just below the 6 o’clock position. The case back has some small scratches, which are visible in the photos. This set is a watch and strap only. The strap is an Officine Panerai tan leather, with stainless steel Panerai buckle.
