A limited-edition Speedmaster, produced for the Japanese department store Marui in the 1990s, with a production run of only 2000 pieces, the Marui 3510.21 has the classic Speedmaster aesthetic, with the highly popular Panda style dial.
The Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a sports and racing chronograph, complementing Omega’s position as the official timekeeper for the Olympic Games. Its iconic place in history stems from its utilization by NASA for the Gemini Titan III crews, and eventually by the astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission, which made it the first watch to be worn on the moon.
The Speedmaster Reduced Marui 3510.21 has a stainless steel case, white Panda-style dial with black chronograph dials, and a black tachymeter bezel. The stainless steel solid case back has the Omega Seahorse with logo.
This Omega Speedmaster Reduced Marui 3510.21 is in very good condition. There are slight wear marks along the case and case back, as well as some wear on the bezel, which are all visible in photos. The Omega logo is still visible on the crown. Crystal is in excellent condition.
